Happy Halloween

This is what happens when you give two boys fake blood. They went to town with it. Really freaky!

I found my nose!

I now have had the joy of seeing all three of my children go through the stage of finding body parts. Addy has been just like the boys too. I remember them sticking their fingers in their noses when asked "where is your nose?" Makes me wonder what else she'll do that they did. I hope she passes the stage that Noah went through of sticking food up his nose.

I really like this picture because it has a cool reflection of the kitchen. I was literally smashed up against the sink trying to take this. Cameron worked for a long while after this picture trying to get the gum off his face. Is there an easy way to do that? He just had to pick it off, piece by piece. Oh, well.

I got to take my first family portraits this weekend! I had so much fun, and they turned out great. My brother has such a beautiful family. I'm glad they were my first. Love you guys.

Halloween Costume's

I know Halloween isn't until next Friday, but we did ours a little early this year. We took the kids up to Main Street on Saturday for the games and treats. Seems like every year that whole event gets a little bigger. The lines were really long this year. Normally we go and do all of it, but there were just too many people this year. The kids had a great time. The boys looked awesome in their cars. Cameron went as a entrepreneur. I know that sounds stupid, but it was so him. He had on his dress shirt with the dress jacket, tie, the hands-free headset, and his Mercedes. He was very professional. He's all about the money! One kid asked him for a ride home, and Camo was very nervously was like "no." I had to tell him to lighten up, it was a joke. So serious! Noah was a cowboy monster truck driver. So cute! They both turned a lot of heads. Even got their pictures taken. Cameron won 3rd place in the costume contest. He won $10, which was very fitting! Addy was cute too in her fall outfit. Originally she was going to be a scarecrow, but it didn't really end up that way. She was cute anyways. She even got a few Dum Dums, her favorite.

Western Day

Today was Western Day for Noah at school. He was such a cute little cowboy. He told me he really liked this cowboy stuff. Maybe now I'll have to get him some boots.

Fall is definitely here. The leaves are turning beautiful, and the air is a little crisper everyday. The boys work on leaf pile everyday when they go out to play. Just one big enough to run and jump in. It started off a pretty sad little pile. It's gotten bigger everyday. It's finally got enough leaves to play in. So far Camo has not had a chance to play in the fruit of his labor, but his cousins and his brother have. They has so much fun. I think their aunt Stacy had the most fun though.

Steve and the Boys did a nice job on our pumpkin this year. It's very snakelike. Scary!

I love the 80's

I bought Addy leg warmers. Weird, I know. But, they are so very cute. I love them. They were meant for her shoes.

If anyone cares to know, they came from from knottybabywear on etsy. They have millions to choose from. They also have them for arms. I got some of them too!

Oh no!

I noticed recently that my daughter is often running around with my cell phone. No big deal. Not until I realized that she's calling people. Some of you have gotten that phone call. She likes to push all the buttons, and carry on a great conversation. She's so cute, until I try to take back my cell phone, and she gets mad and says "mine!" I'm always trying to hide it, but she always seems to find it. She's also getting into my purse, going through my wallet, and taking out my credit cards. Do you see my concern here? This is a glimpse into my future of me telling her to get off the phone, and "no" she can't have anymore money. Nobody told me it started this early!

It's a Beautiful Day

Today we met Steve for a picnic lunch at Hunter Park. It is so nice outside! We were able to sit right by the water, in the sun, and we didn't melt. Now, my kids are energetic and like to run around, but today they just sat there peacefully, and enjoyed it. Noah occasionally had to defend his food from his sister, but no biggie. A nice lunch. I loved it.

I just had to post this because I've come to the realization this just may be the best I'm going to get. I've been trying for weeks to get a picture of Noah and Addy together, and they all end up the same. No compliance from Addy, and Noah always hunch's down next to everybody he takes a picture with. I don't know if it's because he's so used to being bigger than everyone else, that he just wants to be on the same level as the person he's with or what. So, this is as good as it gets.

Yuck!

This is why my kids are always sick. I don't encourage this. I've been trying to keep them away from Addy, but as you can see that's working! That is so gross. You give her a kiss, and at the last second...she licks you!

Sugar Bear Spider Man and Beary chillin on the couch. He keeps telling me that he feels really bad. Poor guy!

Cookie's 101 with Noah

Noah is a pro at making cookie's now. He's been making them since he was at least three. All I have to do now is give him the right measurement utensil, and crack the egg for him, and he goes to town. I don't even worry about a mess anymore because he really doesn't make one. Maybe one day he'll be our pastry chef! I know ya'll be stopping by then. These were made special today for Mrs. Ashley who is having a birthday (Happy Birthday!). As you can see, he got Addy's approval too! Noah had to stay home from school because his fever was still lingering last night, but I think he would have been fine today. He just gets an extra long Fall Break. It's been nice to spend some quality time with him too.

Pumpkin Patch

We went with Noah's class yesterday on a field trip to Shepard's Cross. It's a real nice farm north of Claremore. They had a pumpkin patch for the kids, along with lessons about god and the harvest. It could not have been on a better day. The weather was beautiful. Noah had fun on the hayride, and Addy just enjoyed running around the pumpkins. I've been suffering with my head cold ever since though. I think I probably should have stayed off the hayride. Oh, well. It was fun.
